Henry Ford Museum-Day 2

The second day at the museum we actually spent in another part of the museum,Greenfield Village. This was kind of set up like an old town with like Thomas Edison's labratory, theWright Brothers shop,Henry Ford's birthplace and places like that.

You could drop pennies in the fountain so everyone was pulling out wallets and searching for pennies..

We then took a train ride around the village......

Can anyone see Jason??? He's peeping out behind Timothy!
We all had to get our hands stamped so that if we got off the train we could get on again without paying.

Thumbs up to an exciting ride!!!!
Pictures when on the train....(below)

We got to have a ride on the Model T,a car produced by Henry Ford.Wikipedia says it was the first affordable automobile.

Timothy was all smiles when he heard that he could sit in front with the driver.
We also visited the Wright Brothers Shop in town :)
Jonathan,of course, wouldn't want to miss it!!!
Stick candy from the general store!!!

We also toured Thomas Edison's laboratory....Interesting!!!

This is the first ipod....Pretty Cool, huh???
We also had a carousel ride, which was probably the little ones highlight.Sorry,I don't have more pictures from that!! Mom was taking most of them with her camera then one of the children was looking at the pictures and then accidentally erased them all. :(

After the carousel we headed off to take some pictures yet then got some souviners. We then headed up to our cottage by the lake about 4 hours away.
***Coming up next-Mackinac Island!!!!
Thanks for all your prayers!!
Sara Ann for the Ebersols
